Mark Redman
Co-Owner & Designer
Mark began his remodeling career during his college years while studying Civil Engineering. In 1992, he established his own remodeling company which flourished into a distinguished award-winning Design/Build firm.
Mark extended his expertise to coaching and consulting with fellow contractors. His valuable insights and guidance led him to contribute to the success of various construction professionals. In 2017, he and his wife, Sam, founded Lightpoint Design & Cabinetry. In January 2021 they acquired Mauck Construction, a company Mark had previously consulted with, and rebranded it as
Lightpoint Design & Renovations. Consequently, the two entities merged giving rise to Lightpoint Designs.
Mark is a highly innovative and forward-thinking individual. He excels in turning design concepts into reality by working closely with homeowners and experts in the field. While Mark continues to provide consultation services to contractors, he also takes pride in guiding and mentoring homeowners, aiming to elevate professionalism within the remodeling industry. His primary focus remains on minimizing the anxiety associated with renovation projects and empowering homeowners with a comprehensive understanding of optimizing their investment.
Mark is an NKBA Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer and a
Certified Living in Place Professional™ (CLIPP).
Samantha Redman
Co-Owner & Designer
Sam is originally from Manchester, England where she studied Business and Finance while also qualifying as an
ACE-certified fitness and ballroom dance instructor.
Sam moved to the United States in 1993 and in 2006,
she ventured back into the world of dance co-founding
Studio Dans, LLC. The studio rapidly established itself as one of the leading dance studios in central Maryland.
Sam has always had a passion for design, and an eye for detail, lending her talents to her husband’s remodeling company.
Following the sale of the dance studio, she began working
with Mark full-time.
Combining her expertise in health and wellness with her experience in the arts, Sam creates thoughtful, timeless designs.
She believes that beauty lies in the details and
that you should feel inspired by your surroundings.
Sam is an NKBA Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer,
a graduate of the internationally renowned Interior Design Institute, an AFPA Certified Health & Wellness Coach,
